2022 Community Path Program

Absolute Concrete repaired damaged concrete panels on Westcross Road this week and will be working in Tidewater Square next week to assist with the road brick repairs.

Willeford Drive Storm Drain Lining

On Tuesday, Southeast Pipe began working on the storm drain system on Willeford Drive. Last month, staff, in conjunction with our contractor, identified pipe separations and root intrusions within this section which have infiltrated the pipe, thus causing blockages within the storm drain pipe. This section of pipe is a vital part of the drainage system in this area of the community as it provides drainage to the swale/ditch system along Bartram Road, including Willeford Drive and all connecting side streets.

To repair/line the failing storm drain pipes, Lagoon 14 will require partial dewatering to a level where the pipe can be exposed in the lagoon. There will be minimal disruption to the residents whose properties are located around the project area. This project is anticipated to be completed in two weeks.

Tidewater Square Maintenance and Closure

Beginning Monday, August 15, Tidewater Square will be closed to through traffic for road maintenance. The maintenance will include repair and replacement of damaged, uplifting bricks in the roadway that have formed potholes and ride-altering bumps on the north end of the square.

Please use the following detour: When exiting Midpoint, you will use Brandenberry Road to Yam Gandy Roady to Landings Way South. When entering Midpoint, you will use Landings Way South to Yam Gandy Road to Brandenberry Road. All residents whose properties are located within the square will be able to come in and out of the square to access their homes; however, there will be delays when the contractors are working directly in front of your home.

Weather permitting, the square will reopen on Thursday, August 18.
