Utilities, Inc. Announces 2022 Irrigation Audit Rebate Program

Utilities Inc.’s 2021 Irrigation Audit Rebate Program was a huge success, with 30 residents receiving an irrigation system audit. The program helped participants improve the functionality of their system with the overall goal of conserving outdoor water usage.

To further encourage water conservation and a reduction in water usage across Skidaway Island, Utilities, Inc. has initiated its second Irrigation Audit Rebate Program. Below are some of the goals of the program.

• Detect leaks and repair broken irrigation heads

• Maintain a consistent watering distribution amongst turfed areas

• Readjust irrigation zones

• Evaluate rain sensors, etc.

The 2022 program is limited to the first 10 applications who must have a Utilities, Inc. of Georgia account and whose property exists within The Landings on Skidaway Island. Residents with a functioning shallow well do not qualify to participate.
