Landings Harbor Marina

Staff continued to work on replacing the sacrificial anodes on the seawall during low tide. The anodes protect the aluminum wall panels from electrolysis and require replacement about every two to three years.

The Marina Staff replaced the VHF radio antenna for the marina ship’s store after the original antenna was lost during a recent storm.

If you are ever in need of a life jacket, we do have a variety of donated sizes on hand to borrow. We want you to keep everyone safe while out on the water.

Landings Sailing Club

There will be a Beer Can Race/Social this Friday, June 24. Hopefully, the weather will remain beautiful and there will be another terrific turnout.

There will be a new session of the Basic Sailing Course beginning on Saturday, July 23 to be offered by a certified SEAS (Society for the Education of American Sailors) instructor in collaboration with local sailors from The Landings Sailing Club. This is intended to teach basics of sailing to those 21 and over who have never been on a sailboat, as well as those with some experience. This is a two-day course that includes classroom instruction plus an on-the-water session. The cost is $100 per student. $25 is refundable if you join TLSC within 30 days. You must be a Landings resident. Please reach out to Angela Margolit if you’re interested at 973-296-8011 or amargolit@hotmail.com.

Dry Storage

The Landings Harbor Marina dry, wet, and jet ski storage is at full capacity. We continue to maintain a waiting list for all slips.

Delegal Creek Marina
 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Daily

Delegal Creek Marina

Delegal Creek has had a flurry of dolphin activity lately. The best time to see them is when the tide is going out (known as a falling tide). If so inclined ,look at the tide charts for the Vernon River, and view the dolphins when they swim upstream to feed on smaller fish heading back out towards the sound.

We have a couple new boats on A dock that are worth checking out. Just before the ship store, there's a beautiful Kadey-Krogan and a new Grady White right next to it, for viewing only of course.

If you're thinking of renting kayaks, it's best to call ahead for reservations, as we are limited and the demand is increasing. Contact Delegal Creek Marina at (912-224-3885). Please don't hesitate to ask questions regarding the tides and wind, and when the best time to go would be depending on your experience. Remember, this is not a lake and can be a bit more challenging.
