50th Anniversary Family Fun Day Details and Menus (Sunday, May 15 from noon to 4 p.m.)

Our 50^th Anniversary Family Fun Day is just a few days away, and all signs point to a great time!

The golf cart parade will kick off the event at noon and leave from The Landings Association’s parking lot (600 Landings Way South). Parade staging begins at 11:30 a.m. Be sure to decorate your cart with the theme of 50 Things, showcasing how you view this milestone Anniversary. 

Carts will exit TLA on the Community Path headed south, cross over Landings Way South and Peregrine, then take Landings Way South to Yam Gandy Road. Carts will turn left on Yam Gandy Road, head west around the loop back to Landings Way South heading north, then switch from Landings Way South (street) to cart path and Peregrine Crossing.

After the parade, head back to the Association and enjoy the sounds of the Charlie Fog Band, kids’ events, and the delicious offerings of several food trucks, including Bowtie BBQ, The 5 Spot, The Naked Dog, Kona Ice, and Leopold’s. Food menus, with the exception of Kona Ice and Leopold’s, are listed below. Kona Ice and Leopold’s still are working on their special selections for this event, but they promise all selections will be SWEET! Be sure to bring cash or credit card to purchase from the food vendors. 50th Anniversary Merchandise also will be available for purchase by credit card, or you can charge items to your TLA Account (all residents have one). Cash will not be accepted for 50th Anniversary Merchandise.

For those seeking a bit more adventure, there will be a community Scavenger Hunt that you can complete at your own pace. The clues will be posted on our 50th Anniversary webpage (www.landings.org/50th) on the day of the event. The first 50 residents who successfully complete the scavenger hunt are encouraged to email “#CheersTo50Years” to pr@landings.org by May 30, to be entered in a random drawing. We will draw three names and give away three prizes.
