50th Anniversary Family Fun Day: May 15 from 12 to 4 p.m.

Hey, party goers! It’s almost celebration time! The 50th Anniversary Family Fun Day is quickly approaching, and you don’t want to miss the fun. Join your family and friends for a roaring good time at Landings Community Park (600 Landings Way South) and enjoy a golf cart parade, food, kids’ events, music, and more!

The golf cart parade will kick off the event at noon and leave from The Landings Association’s parking lot (600 Landings Way South). The route still is being finalized, so watch for Association email bulletins outlining details closer to the event. Be sure to decorate your cart with the theme of 50 Things, showcasing how you view this milestone Anniversary.

After the parade, head back to the Association and enjoy the sounds of the Charlie Fog Band, kids’ events, and the delicious offerings of several food trucks, including Bowtie BBQ, The 5 Spot, Kona Ice, and Leopold’s. Be sure to bring cash or credit card to purchase from the food vendors.

For those seeking a bit more adventure, there will be a community Scavenger Hunt that you can complete at your own pace. The clues will be posted on our 50th Anniversary webpage (www.landings.org/50th) on the day of the event. The first 50 residents who successfully complete the scavenger hunt are encouraged to email “#CheersTo50Years” to pr@landings.org by May 30, to be entered in a random drawing. We will draw three names and give away three prizes.
