Landings Harbor

Operating Hours 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Daily

Landings Harbor Marina Windy conditions kept most boaters at bay this week. Staff took the downtime to replace the gasoline dock hoses, and removed and replaced the carpet on several rack boards where the boat hulls contact the wood timbers. Dredging Project Dolan Yacht Service completed the contract terms for the 2022 dredging project on Friday, March 18. The final bathymetric survey is scheduled for April 5. The results will be compared to the pre-dredge bathy and determine the total volume of material removed during the project. Any discrepancies will be identified and addressed as needed. Facebook Page Our Facebook page just passed 1,000 followers! Please find us on FB at “Landings Harbor Marina,” like and follow us! You’ll always be in the know about things happening at the Harbor and in the store. We also have one for Delegal Creek Marina, that is under “Delegal Marina.” Feel free to follow both! Meet the Team We continue to introduce our Marinas team members to you each week so that you will have names to go along with the faces you see. This is Fernando Marquez. He has always lived in Savannah. He began working at the Marina July 2020 and is our Lead Forklift Operator. Fernando is an experienced fisher and boater. He is our go-to person to answer questions regarding fishing equipment/spots and navigating the waterways. He plans on getting his Captain’s license in near future. He also loves to work on cars and race them with friends. Fernando is incredibly dependable and hard working. He is a strong leader on the Marinas team. Marina Ship’s Store The new beverage cooler we ordered to hold our adult-beverages has arrived!!!! We appreciate everyone’s patience while we had to improvise using an iced down igloo cooler. Set at a crisp temperature of 33 degrees, enjoy the coldest beer and wine on the island from our new cooler. We received the pink version of the solar SPF 50 shirt for women with the map on the back. We also got replenishment of the white. The 50th Anniversary merchandise has arrived! We have men’s and women’s polos, white hats, koozies, and golf/fishing towels. The t-shirts and Tervis tumblers are in production. You may come purchase these from the Ship’s Store at Landings Harbor. Thank you to those who have already stopped by to be among the first to sport your “Cheers to 50 Years” apparel! Landings Sailing Club The Landings Sailing Club will kick off its Beer Can Race/Social event every other week starting this Friday, April 1 (No Fooling)! 31 members and 9 boats signed up to participate in this first event. If you have thought about joining the Sailing Club, this is the perfect opportunity to come see what it is all about. They go sailing first and then have social time at the Dockside Bar. Delegal Creek Marina As previously advised, the electrical panel upgrades will begin on April 4. If all goes well, there should be limited disruption to the boats utilizing shore power. If you are a Delegal Creek slip holder, please review the email sent out March 25 for full details on the scope of the project. Delegal Creek accommodated several transient vessels this week and has been seeing reservations for the upcoming transient season. The North migration has started, and we expect to see many of our repeat customers stopping in to enjoy the facilities. There's been an uptick in reservations for the Sunset Pavilion as summer nears. So if you are thinking of reserving, don't delay. Reservations can be made through TLA at 912-598-2520 or on the website www.landings.org. The Captain’s Lounge, fancy name for the screened in porch area closer to the water, is first come first served. All are welcomed!
