Landings Harbor Marina

Last week, we had several days of beautiful weather. Saturday afternoon was very windy but that did not stop boaters and the sailing club members from going out earlier in the day. The Marina staff replaced a set of rack bunk boards that had failed. The gasoline hoses were replaced due to the deterioration of the cover from UV rays and saltwater environment. The new hoses are USCG tested and certified.

Dredging Project

Dolan Yacht Service, Inc. concluded the dredging project on Friday, March 18. The final bathymetric survey will be compared to the pre-dredge bathy in determining the total volume of material removed during the project. Any additional dredging will be identified and addressed as needed.

Facebook Page

Our Facebook page has 995 followers! We are so close to 1,000! Please find us on FB at “Landings Harbor Marina,” like and follow us! You’ll always be in the know about things happening at the Harbor and in the store. We also have one for Delegal Creek Marina, which is under “Delegal Marina.” Feel free to follow both!

Meet the Team

We continue introducing our Marinas team members to you each week so that you will have names to go along with the faces you see. This is Sam Floyd. He recently celebrated his One-Year Anniversary with us. Sam was born and raised in Savannah. He is one of our forklift drivers and all-round handyman around the marina. He also is trained and helps us out at our Delegal Creek location on a weekly basis. Sam loves to DJ at different events as a side gig and is planning to get a degree in Music Production in hopes of producing albums for various artists in the future. He showed up as a perfect “Ted Lasso” last Halloween! We love having Sam and his quick wit around the marina.

We did just get restocked with Leopold’s ice cream single serve cups! Vanilla, chocolate, coffee, butter pecan, chocolate chip, mint chocolate chip, and strawberry are the flavors we currently have.

Our beer fridge is still not feeling well, but we have a replacement ordered. Have no fear; we have a large traditional cooler filled with all your favorite adult beverages on ice!

Delegal Creek Marina

The kayak launch has been removed for cleaning and necessary repairs to ensure it's ready for the busy summer months. For those of you who aren't aware, there's a small ship store at the end of dock A with beverages and some snacks. We have water, Powerade, a variety of soda, individual beers, and individual bottles of white wine. Those can be charged to your TLA account, paid by credit card, or cash.
