Landings Harbor

Operating Hours 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Daily

Landings Harbor Marina

Last week, we had several days of beautiful weather. Saturday afternoon was very windy but that did not stop boaters and the sailing club members from going out earlier in the day. The Marina staff replaced a set of rack bunk boards that had failed. The gasoline hoses were replaced due to the deterioration of the cover from UV rays and saltwater environment. The new hoses are USCG tested and certified.

Dredging Project

Dolan Yacht Service, Inc. concluded the dredging project on Friday, March 18. The final bathymetric survey will be compared to the pre-dredge bathy in determining the total volume of material removed during the project. Any additional dredging will be identified and addressed as needed.

Facebook Page

Our Facebook page has 995 followers! We are so close to 1,000! Please find us on FB at “Landings Harbor Marina,” like and follow us! You’ll always be in the know about things happening at the Harbor and in the store. We also have one for Delegal Creek Marina, which is under “Delegal Marina.” Feel free to follow both!

Meet the Team

We continue introducing our Marinas team members to you each week so that you will have names to go along with the faces you see. This is Sam Floyd. He recently celebrated his One-Year Anniversary with us. Sam was born and raised in Savannah. He is one of our forklift drivers and all-round handyman around the marina. He also is trained and helps us out at our Delegal Creek location on a weekly basis. Sam loves to DJ at different events as a side gig and is planning to get a degree in Music Production in hopes of producing albums for various artists in the future. He showed up as a perfect “Ted Lasso” last Halloween! We love having Sam and his quick wit around the marina.

Marina Ship’s Store

Some of the 50th Anniversary merchandise has arrived! We have men’s and women’s polos, white hats, koozies and golf/fishing towels. You may come purchase these from the Ship’s Store at Landings Harbor. Be among the first to sport your Cheers to 50 Years apparel!

We did just get restocked with Leopold’s ice cream single serve cups! Vanilla, chocolate, coffee, butter pecan, chocolate chip, mint chocolate chip, and strawberry are the flavors we currently have.

Our beer fridge is still not feeling well, but we have a replacement ordered. Have no fear; we have a large traditional cooler filled with all your favorite adult beverages on ice!

Landings Sailing Club

The Landings Sailing Club will kick off its Beer Can Race/Social event every other Friday starting on April 1st. If you have thought about joining the Sailing Club, this is the perfect opportunity to come and see what it is all about. They go sailing first and then have social time at the Dockside Bar. If you are interested in finding out more, please email landingssailing@gmail.com.

The Geechee Sailing Club was the proud host of the 43rd Annual St. Patrick's Regatta on Saturday and Sunday, March 19 and 20. Several of The Landings Sailing Club members participated. The pictures above are (from left to right) the proud winners of the Rhodes 19 and J24 class boat races.

The Landings Sailing Club will be offering another Basic Sailing Course in April. The two-day intensive course includes interactive classroom instruction that will be held Saturday, April 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The water session will be held the following Sunday, Tuesday, or Wednesday based on student and instructor availability, weather, and tides. Class size is limited to 10. There are still slots remaining. The cost is $100 per student. $25 will be refunded if you join TLSC within 30 days. You must be a Landings resident. For questions and to register, contact Angela Margolit (amargolit@hotmail.com or 973-296-8011).

Dry Storage

The Landings Harbor Marina dry, wet, and jet ski storage is at full capacity. We did have a couple very small dry slips come open, and we are promptly filling the openings from the waitlist.

Delegal Creek Marina

The kayak launch has been removed for cleaning and necessary repairs to ensure it's ready for the busy summer months. For those of you who aren't aware, there's a small ship store at the end of dock A with beverages and some snacks. We have water, Powerade, a variety of soda, individual beers, and individual bottles of white wine. Those can be charged to your TLA account, paid by credit card, or cash.
