Vehicle Accident without Injuries

On Friday, March 18, Security and Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) responded to McWhorter Drive near the Deer Creek North Gate for a two-vehicle accident without injuries. A resident of Modena Island ran into the back of a Landings Association Public Works vehicle stopping at McWhorter Drive after exiting the gate. Neither driver required medical assistance.

Possible Gas Leak

Security and Chatham Emergency Services (CES) responded to a residence on Captain Jim Lane regarding a possible gas leak. After evacuating the residence, CES conducted a check for the leak and could not locate one. No further actions were taken, and there were no additional reports.
