50th Anniversary Golden Nugget: Palmetto Section of The Landings

Phase One of The Landings opened in 1972. The average price of the initial lots sold between September 1972 and August 1973 was $16,855, while the average price of marsh lots was $28,000. (On an inflation adjusted basis, these prices today would be $90,468 and $150,298.)

Elbert and Helen Little were the owners of the first home built at The Landings. They built on Tything Man Lane and moved there in September of 1973.
