Wintery weather is keeping most boaters off the water lately. The Marinas staff have been busy organizing the marina storage buildings and taking inventory of the tools and supplies.

Absolute Concrete replaced a section of concrete in front of the west launch ramp this week. We will wait a few days to allow the concrete to cure before using the launch. The section that was replaced was causing issues for the forklift when entering the launch ramp. The dry storage operation continued without interruption during the concrete work.

The Marinas staff have been working on getting Harvest Moon ready for the fleet. The interior bulkheads and forward bilge have been painted. We’re waiting on a couple of days with temperatures around 60 degrees to complete the painting on the hull and topside.

Dry Storage

Landings Harbor wet, dry, and jet ski storage slots are at 100% capacity. We continue to add to and maintain a waiting list for all slips. David Coyle with Mack David Buildings was onsite Wednesday to survey the dry rack system in preparation of submitting a proposal for the new racks.

Vessel movement has been very light, allowing the new Dockmaster, Mike Marino, to concentrate on getting the office organized and get some necessary training in before the boating season picks up.
