Skidaway Abigails February Site Visits
Skidaway Abigails is offering a unique opportunity on February 10, for two site visits in Savannah.
Kate Blair, Executive Director of CASA, has invited us to Brightside Child & Family Advocacy Home of Savannah from 9:50 a.m. to 11 a.m. We will hear a staff presentation about the new Center and speak with CASA volunteers about their work with foster care children. In the afternoon, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., we will visit Park Place Outreach, where Executive Director Desmond Crayton will share his ideas for meeting the needs of at-risk teens who experience trauma and homelessness in our community.
We welcome all vaccinated Skidaway Abigails and member-guests ($10 guest fee) and Skidaway Hamiltons to participate. Masks must be worn when inside both locations. Participants who wish to lunch together can do so between the site visits. The number of participants is limited, so please confirm your reservation soon.  For additional registration information or to join this meeting as a guest, please email chair@skidawayabigails.org.
