Public Works...Working for You!
Sunset Room Refit Project
On Friday, in-house staff and its subcontractors completed the replacement of the buffet area countertops, interior doors, the painting of the interior of the facility, and the replacement of the ceiling fans in the screened-in porch. The improvements really brighten up and elevate the space. If you haven’t rented this space yet, you’re going to want to schedule your rental soon as the calendar fills up quickly!
2022 Road Project
This week, Absolute Concrete continued to replace damaged curbing along Monastery Road in advance of the upcoming 2022 Road Project.
Street Sweepers
In an effort to clear the roadways from debris, three street sweepers have continuously run throughout the community this week.
Landings Way South Community Path – Hazardous Tree Removal
This week, staff began removing hazardous trees along the community path that runs alongside Landings Way South. Areas along the same path with little to no ground cover are also being evaluated as areas to use beneficial reuse material from the street sweeping program. This will provide a more aesthetically pleasing look than bare earth while also helping stop soil erosion.
Salting Facilities Areas
BrightView will be salting the areas around TLA’s Administration Building, Delegal Marina, Landings Harbor Marina, and the Main Gate in preparation for the chance of freezing rain over the weekend.
