Landings Harbor Marina

Happy New Year! The weather was gorgeous throughout the holidays. Our boaters did not hesitate in taking their family and friends out for some after holiday fun on the water and at the marina. The holidays are over, and now it is time to turn our attention towards prepping for the 2022 boating season. During this quieter period, we will concentrate on projects that will benefit our boaters and make the marina the place for residents to come spend time. For example, the screen on the fishing shack door is being replaced with a heavier duty screen material to stand up to the daily wear and tear that occurs.

This is a great time of year for our boaters to make sure they have given us all their up-to-date information. Please make sure we have your most current contact information, including address, phone number, and email, as well as updated boat insurance policy information on file. If you have any questions, please contact Jen (jennifers@landings.org or at 912-598-1901).

Marina Ship’s Store

Thank you to those who purchased holiday gifts from our store. We cannot wait to see everyone wearing their new Landings Marinas apparel! We will begin designing, planning, and ordering for the upcoming season soon. Please feel free to share any feedback on merchandise from this past year and/or offer suggestions for items you’d like to see us carry in the future. There will be replenishment of top sellers and some new items expected by the end of January. You can email Jen (jennifers@landings.org) with your ideas.

Landings Sailing Club

The members enjoyed the beautiful sunshine and high winds for the first weekly Rhodes 19 race of 2022 on Sunday, December 2. Six teams competed in two separate races. The Marinas staff are preparing to paint Harvest Moon and return her to the fleet after major repairs to the keel and flooring. This will bring the fleet to 11 boats to support the growing membership, currently at 45 as of January 2022.

You may have noticed that the chairs to the Tiki Hut have not been left out recently. This is due to the vandalism that has been done to one of them in the recent months. If you know that you are going to be coming to the marina to spend time at the Tiki Hut and would like us to make sure they are out for you, please call us (912-598-1901).

Dry Storage

Landings Harbor wet, dry, and jet ski storage slots are at 100% capacity. We continue to add to and maintain a waiting list for all slips.

Delegal Creek Marina

We welcome everyone to sit and enjoy our docks at Delegal, but we do ask that you do not feed the birds at the marina. They are becoming quite a problem for the boaters and staff. On behalf of the boaters and staff, we greatly appreciate your help by not furthering the problem.
