This week Property and Housing Inspector Karen Szychowski attended a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Training Level 1B. The Level IB Advanced Fundamentals Seminar was a two-day seminar designed to educate regulatory enforcement inspectors to properly inspect construction sites for compliance with state and local erosion and sedimentation laws. The information obtained during this course will be used to both aid TLA Property and Housing Inspectors in identifying noncompliance and to educate contractors regarding best management practices for erosion and sediment control.
