Chatham County Public Works Department Reminds Residents to Follow Yard Debris Collection Rules

Chatham County Public Works Department reminds members of The Landings to please follow the rules and regulations for weekly Yard Debris Collection. Many residents are not adhering to the rules, which has resulted in delayed collection in some areas of the community. 

Please note that logs and limbs from commercial or contracted major tree trimming or tree removal operations will not be collected by the County. Contractors can discard debris piles at the Evergreen Chipping Facility located off McWhorter Drive. Dump tickets for the facility can be purchased at The Landings Association Administration Building (600 Landings Way South).
