Landings Harbor Marina

Fall is in the air! The crisp fall mornings are turning into warmer afternoons in a matter of hours. The best of both worlds! The marinas are the perfect place to walk, ride a bike and exercise your four-legged friend (most know to stop by the store for a treat!).

We welcomed a new team member this week. Andrew “Drew” Holloway is our newest dockhand. We are excited to have him on board!

Our team completed power washing the docks. Staff replaced a couple of damaged rack bunk boards during down times.

Members of the Skidaway Island Boat Club did some light sanding and added a fresh coat of oil to the Tiki Bar top due to vandalism that had occurred. We’d like to remind everyone that this is an amenity for all homeowners to enjoy. Please help us to take care of this favorite marina gathering spot.

Marina Ship’s Store

Our Ship’s Store has your custom Landings Marina apparel for these brisk mornings and evenings. Everyone is loving the new French terry sweatshirts and light weight quarter-zips, perfect for layering!

The Kiwanis Club of Skidaway is hosting it’s 23rd Annual Chili Cook-Off on our picnic grounds on Saturday, November 6. On top of the delicious chili, various forms of entertainment and golf raffle that they are having, our beverage vendor has donated a Yuengling folding chair for us to raffle off at the store, proceeds to go to the Kiwanis Club. The ship’s store will be open and fully stocked with beer, hard seltzers, hard apple cider and wine for you to purchase during the event. You can get all the details, tickets, and raffle tickets for the golf cart at www.kiwanisofskidaway.com. If you don’t come to the marina often, this is a fantastic opportunity to pop in, say “hello” and check out our merchandise!

Landings Sailing Club

The Landings Sailing Club hosted a “Midnight Sail” on Wednesday, October 20. They enjoyed the view of the full moon from the water. An early Beer Can race is scheduled for Friday October 22 to navigate around the lower-than-average tides in the Wilmington River.

Dry Storage

Landings Harbor wet, dry, and jet ski storage slots are at 100% capacity. We continue to add to and maintain a waiting list for all slips. There is one dry storage slip that just came open and will be filled off the waiting list.

Delegal Creek Marina

Operating Hours 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Daily (please note updated hours)

Delegal Creek Marina

Delegal Marina is preparing to install more “Gull-Sweep’s” on B and C dock to hopefully alleviate the amount of bird activity on the docks. We also accepted two single kayaks, donated to our kayak rental program from a Landing’s resident. The kayaks will replace two of the single kayaks that were scheduled for replacement. The transient season is off to a great start. Many of the guests have enjoyed all our offered amenities. The Public Works team continue to replace decking on the fixed boardwalk. Reminder to all residents, golf carts should not be driven on the boardwalk at Delegal Marina. This will greatly extend the lifetime of the newly installed walkway!
