Skidaway Salute Veterans Golf Cart Parade Set for November 7

Join your friends and neighbors on Sunday, November 7 from 2 to 3 p.m. for Skidaway Salutes Veterans! This golf cart parade is a chance to come together as a community and have some fun as we honor those who serve our country. Join us to express your pride,  patriotism, and hopes for the future! We will display a memorial to the fallen 13 at the conclusion of the parade route to allow anyone who wishes the opportunity to pay their respects.

The parade route has been specially selected to allow you to join or leave along several viewing areas to accommodate your needs. You can join the parade or show your support by driveway tailgating and making some noise as the parade passes your home. Please RSVP by November 2 by clicking here.

Ways to Participate:

• Veterans are encouraged to display a bow, balloon, or sign on their mailbox
• Red, White, and Blue decorations, signage, and noisemakers are encouraged. 
• Photographers needed - (email suziehunt@gmail.com to volunteer)
• Stagers needed for the beginning of parade - (email suziehunt@gmail.com to volunteer)
• End of Parade / Memorial
• Driveway Tailgate (display signs and make some noise as the parade passes your home.)
