Marinas Update

Landings Harbor Marina’s operating hours are now 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., daily. Delegal Creek Marina’s fall hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., each day.

The summer blooms at Landings Harbor have been replaced by fabulous fall foliage, signaling that the official summer boating season has come to an end and the fall season is here. Fortunately for us, we can enjoy boating weather practically all year long.

Speaking of landscape improvements, we have new sod and cement pads for golf carts by the picnic area and Tiki Hut. This will be terrific for all your gatherings in those spaces. The picnic area at Landings Harbor and the Sunset Pavilion at Delegal may be reserved online (landings.org/outdoor-amenities#picnic-grounds or landings.org/sunset-pavilion), and the Tiki Hut is first come, first-served.

There are new weather stations installed at both Marinas. These updated units allow us to get accurate weather readings and data.

The Ship’s Store is gearing up for the holidays. The new apparel should arrive throughout October. New, long sleeve solar shirts for men and women, cotton, terry sweatshirts, and lightweight, quarter-zip pullovers are among the new merchandise. We will have a large selection of Tervis cups to keep your beverages hot or cold. Larger tumblers and mugs will be added to the tumblers and water bottles already available. We also have several new custom baseball caps on order. Follow us on Facebook (www.facebook.com/landingsharbormarina) for new merchandise announcements!

The cooler temperatures are perfect for fishing. Don’t forget that we have the basics you need, including fishing pole combos, hooks, fillet and bait knives, tackle, fishing location maps, and frozen bait (shrimp, squid, finger mullet, and mullet chunks). We even have a team member on staff who loves to fish and can answer questions you may have about fishing locally.

The Landings Sailing Club continues to do recreational sailing and races. The Beer Can Race, every other Friday, is a favorite among current and potential members. For more information, email landingssailing@gmail.com. You also can visit their Facebook page (www.facebook.com/TheLandingsSailingClub).

Stay tuned for more information. We look forward to seeing you at the Marinas!
