Landings Harbor Marina

We welcomed a new employee this weekJarred Cagle has been hired as a dockhand/fork-lift operator in training. He has a U.S. Navy background working on aviation flight decks and fork-lift operator experience for a packing and shipping company. We are excited that he has chosen to join our team. He recently moved here with his wife and four-year-old son from Ellijay, Georgia.

The urinal in the men’s restroom was not properly flushing. American Plumbing came out on August 25 and found tobacco products clogging the pipe. He cleaned it out and it is back in service.

The Landings Sailing Program

The Landings Sailing Club had another successful class session on August 21. Their sailing education will continue out onto the water. There will be a Beer Can Race this Friday, weather permitting!

Don’t forget to come and get your custom Landings Sailing Club UPF 50 Vapor solar shirt that we created. We had taken pre-orders of sizes but have several people that have yet to come get theirs. There will be about 18 extra shirts by the end of this week that can be purchased even if you hadn’t responded to the pre-orders.

Delegal Creek Marina

Summer operating Hours 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Delegal Creek Marina

This week had high traffic throughout the weekend with high fuel sales on Saturday. Weekdays remaining great for project work, we were able to fix more dock boxes and begin pressure washing the concrete sections of floating dock. The completed areas look great, and we are excited to get the remainder finished. A new frozen bait freezer will be making an addition to the ship store here at Delegal. Many residents are enjoying the new screen room additions! From the ceiling fans to the screen enclosure and furniture, our awesome Public Works Department completed the upgrades this week in time for the first party Wednesday evening.
