The CDD team has been busy this week. Following is a closer look at what they've been working on.

Private Property Maintenance Standards
Staff completed routine property inspections took place in Midpoint this week. Follow-up and requested inspections were also conducted throughout the island. This week seven (7) properties presented with a violation of the Private Property Maintenance Standards and 13 properties were contacted as a courtesy for education regarding covenants regulations.

PPMS Revisions

The Community Development Department is currently seeking resident feedback to changes proposed to the Private Property Maintenance Standards. This input is highly valued to ensure that the regulations meet their intended purpose. Further, the feedback will allow the department to continue their efforts to revise the document for greater consistency amongst other governing documents, increase clarity, and make the document more user friendly. Once final revisions are made based on the comments provided, the draft document will proceed to final review by the Governance Committee and the Board of Directors in September.
