Public Works...Working for You!
Storm on June 10, 2021
During the storm late yesterday afternoon, several trees fell on Tarrow Ridge Road. The tree crew was onsite early Friday morning to begin the removal of the felled trees. Additionally, the call box at the Marshview Landing Access Control Facility was damaged during the storm. Staff is working to replace the call box and Remote Technology will program the box thereafter. Â

2021 Community Path Project
This week, Absolute Concrete began the demolition of the asphalt path from Landings Harbor Marina to Bartram Road. They will continue to work along this path until completion. Â
Gate Improvements
On Wednesday, Remote Technology, our gate equipment service provider, completed several software upgrades along with the removal of unused gate equipment at the Oakridge and Deer Creek Village gates. Over the last several weeks, in-house staff have been working with Remote Technology to resolve the issues with the TRES reader (RFID reader) at the Oakridge Gate. The TRES reader has not been reading some of the RFID barcodes and has been inoperable at times with clear cause. Remote Technology installed a new TRES reader with a backup unit and believe these replacements and upgrades will resolve the reoccurring issues at the Oakridge gatehouse.Â
2021 HVAC Unit Replacements
On Thursday, Climatech, our HVAC service provider, replaced the HVAC unit in the Deer Creek Access Control Facility. This project was approved in May by the Finance Committee, Public Works Committee and the Board of Directors and was funded through the Capital Asset Management Plan. Climatech will be onsite next week to replace the HVAC unit for the CDD office which was also approved in May.
