Description:
The mission and purpose of The One Hundred Children's Foundation is to promote the health, education and well-being of children through financial support of child-focused outreach programs in the Coastal Empire of Georgia and the Low Country of South Carolina. Through fund raising and volunteer efforts, The OHCF supports a variety of non-profit organizations that serve children's health and educational initiatives. Membership is $100 per year and all are invited to join. All proceeds raised through fund raising events go directly to the organizations chosen through the grant review process. Volunteer opportunities include working on fund raising events, volunteering on committees, creating hats, pillows, knitted toys, etc. for children in hospitals, delivering books to hospitals and other organizations serving children, assembling infant necessities for new parents served at clinics, reading to children and other opportunities as they arise.
