2021 Athletic Field Project Update

A week full of sunshine allowed Sporting Concepts to make significant progress on the installation of the new playground elements.

To help alleviate some of the drainage concerns around the playground, in-house staff installed a new drainage system and will continue to monitor the area after our next rainfall (which we are hoping is not anytime soon!).  All residents can view live footage of the project by clicking on the following link: https://landings.org/athletic-facilities.

Please note that the area surrounding the playground and basketball court will remain closed until the installation of the playground elements and resurfacing of the court are completed.

Algae & Weed Control Season

You may have noticed that algae and aquatic weed growing season is upon us.  The amount of rain we have received, along with the warmer temperatures have caused algae growth in some of our lagoons.  Beginning next week, the lagoon crew will start herbicide applications to target algae and aquatic weeds in our lagoon system.  In the meantime, crews are addressing algae in lagoons as observed.
