This week, Sporting Concepts removed the old playground equipment and began to install the new playground elements. The contractor is ahead of schedule thanks to tasks your Public Works team completed before their arrival, including removing the shuffleboards. Sporting Concepts allotted 10 days for demolition but removed all playground equipment in one day, which is pretty incredible! Click

Due to the excessive amount of rain in our area this week, we’re fortunate that Sporting Concepts could complete the demolition in such record time, as we lost several workdays due to the weather. The soft ground makes the installation of playground elements a bit tricky!
Your Association recently installed a live webcam on the Athletic Field Complex that allows footage of the work in real-time. You can view live footage of the project by clicking
here. You also can view the camera from The Landings Association’s website (
https://landings.org/athletic-facilities). The camera will operate during work hours, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and occasionally on Saturday. It is important to note that weather conditions, such as rain, may affect viewability.
Public Works will continue to update the community as the project progresses. As a reminder, this facility will remain closed until the installation of all playground elements. The basketball courts also remain closed until the resurfacing of the court is completed, which is scheduled to take place after the playground installation project is done.
Thank you for your patience as we continue to work on this exciting, new project!
