Theft

On Wednesday, October 21, a resident notified Security and Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) of a theft, which occurred on Sunday, October 18. The resident stated that she had an open house at her home and discovered missing prescription medication upon completion of the open house. A possible suspect has been identified, and CCPD is investigating.

Suspicious Incidents

On Thursday, October 22, a resident contacted Security to report a suspicious incident. The resident advised that, on three separate occasions during the past week between 8 and 9 p.m., a golf cart on the path behind her home would park with the lights angled into the home. She further advised that the cart would remain in that position until she closes the blinds. Due to the time of day, she was not able to provide a description of the cart. Extra patrols will be performed in the area, and the resident was requested to contact security immediately if this occurs again.
