Vehicle Accident

Security and Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) responded to the four-way intersection at McWhorter Road and Diamond Causeway for a two-vehicle accident on Sunday, October 11. Both vehicles were turning right onto Diamond Causeway when the driver of the first vehicle suddenly stopped, which caused the driver of the second vehicle to run into the back of the first vehicle. There were no injuries to either party, and their vehicles sustained minimal damages. Neither individual was a Landings resident.

Trespass

On Thursday, October 8, Security received a report of an unoccupied vehicle parked outside the Marshview Landing gate. A check of the Avigilon camera system showed an unknown male and female enter through the gate on foot. Security responded to the area and located the individuals. The female was an employee of a landscaping company and stated she lost two keys while working in the area earlier in the day. The responding officer explained that they could not enter Landings property without authorization, and the individuals left the area without incident.
