Suspicious Incidents

On Wednesday, August 26, Security patrols responded to the area of Cotesworth Place and Tidewater Way for a report of possible gunshots. Officers patrolled the surrounding areas with negative findings. There were no additional reports.

A resident on Liberty Place reported someone ringing her doorbell and running away on Friday, August 28. She stated this has been an ongoing issue for more than a year. Security patrols responded to the area but found nothing unusual. Extra patrols will be performed.

On Saturday, August 29, Security patrols responded to Little Comfort Road for a report of a suspicious incident. The resident advised that a vehicle had followed his daughter to her driveway and then drove by the residence two times. The resident’s daughter provided a description of the vehicle and the driver, and officers patrolled the Midpoint area in hopes of locating the vehicle in question with negative results.
