Village Library Pop-Up Book Sales
In addition to our Grab & Go service, The Village Library is offering pop-up book sales beginning Wednesday, August 12. The books will be available in front of the Library from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
There will be a rotating selection of books available, both fiction and nonfiction, with frequent changes.
The books will be reasonably priced, so this is a great opportunity to stock up. Prices begin at $1. Consider coming by the Library often to see what’s new.
Books will be available outside the Library so social distancing will not be a problem. Masks are suggested.
Proceeds from the book sales support The Village Library, an independent, all-volunteer library supported entirely by donations and fees with more than 2,500 patrons and a collection of 24,000 books, CDs, and DVDs. The Village Library is located at 1 Skidaway Village Square on Skidaway Island.
Our Grab & Go service continues. Call the Library (598-1183) between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday. Books ordered during these hours will be available for curbside pickup at the Library between 1 and 2:30 p.m. Take advantage of our online list of holdings with links available on our website (thevillagelibrary.org
) and our Facebook page.
