Gas Leak

On Wednesday, June 10, Landings Security, Chatham Emergency Services (CES), and Atlanta Gas responded to a residence on Half Penny Circle for a gas leak. Atlanta Gas located the leak and made the necessary repairs.

Suspicious Incident

Landings Security responded to Yam Gandy Road for a report of a suspicious vehicle on Saturday, June 13. The complainant advised that individuals in the vehicle were approaching the homeowner’s doors and asking how to get to Wassaw Island. Security patrolled the surrounding areas as well as Delegal Marina but did not locate the vehicle. No similar incidents were reported.

On Monday, June 15, a resident contacted Landings Security to report an alleged burglar in the residence. Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) responded and conducted a premise check of the interior and exterior of the home with negative results, and no signs of forced entry were discovered. Upon further discussion with a family member, it was determined the call was unfounded.

Disturbing the Peace

Landings Security responded to Landings Way North on Saturday, June 13, for a report of loud music. Security made contact with a resident who was playing an electric guitar in his garage. The resident was unaware that he had turned up the volume on the guitar as he was listening to music via headphones and playing along with the music. He apologized for the disturbance and lowered the volume of the guitar.
