Graduating Seniors Parade and Social Media Spotlights

The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting people worldwide, including the Class of 2020 in The Landings. To help acknowledge the hard work of these students, The Landings Association will host a Senior Parade (date to be determined) if we get enough community interest.

Graduating seniors will be driven by their family along the parade route (so the seniors are free to wave without being a distracted driver) and other residents can come to the end of their driveway or distance safely along the side of the road (at least six feet) with supportive posters, banners, etc.

If you and your graduate are interested in participating in the parade, please email Community Programs Manager Kristin Peney (kristinp@landings.org). Once the logistics for the parade are finalized, she will email you instructions for participation, including the parade route and where and what time to lineup.

Residents also are encouraged to upload a photo or short video (one minute or less) of their senior to our Facebook Group Page (The Landings Association) or Instagram (@TLAUpdate) using the hashtag #LandingsProudClassof2020. If you are not a member of our Facebook Group, please follow this link to sign up (https://www.facebook.com/groups/TLAHOA).

Join us in celebrating the accomplishments of the Class of 2020. Let’s show them how very proud of them we are and how we are determined not to let COVID-19 stand in the way of our showing them!

Watch for more details on the Graduating Seniors Parade on our Facebook Group and in Landings Association Emails as more details become available.
