The Landings Association Working Remotely Until Further Notice

Earlier today (March 24) Savannah Mayor Van Johnson issued an amended emergency declaration ordering citizens of Savannah to shelter at home starting tomorrow (March 25) to help flatten the curve of the potential spread of COVID-19. Although Chatham County has not yet issued a shelter at home order, Landings Association employees who live in the city limits are affected, which will impact business operations at TLA.

The Landings Association will close its doors to all walk-in traffic starting at 8 a.m. tomorrow (March 25). Team members who can do so, will serve residents remotely. Landings Security will continue operating on a 24/7 basis, as their work falls in the allowed exception category under the emergency declaration.

The drop boxes on the turnaround circle in front of the Association (600 Landings Way South) have been removed until further notice. You can mail Landings Association items to 600 Landings Way South, Savannah, Georgia 31411. If you have an item to for The Landing Club, please mail it to 71 Green Island Road, Savannah, Georgia 31411 or drop items in the mail slot next to Operation Office’s front door. Please forward items intended for Utilities, Inc to P.O. Box 11025, Lewiston, Maine 04243.

The following are some highlights of what that telework will look like for some of our front-line departments, including Customer Service, Community Development, and Finance.

Community Relations Representatives will continue to serve all residential and commercial vendor needs virtually.

  • New Property Owners and Renters should send an email to admin@landings.org and include a copy of their signed settlement statement, vehicle registrations, and contact information. A Community Relations Representative will send back via email a virtual orientation, which includes instructions and links to complete the registration process.
  • Residential Vehicle Registration - please email a copy of your bill of sale or lease agreement, along with a copy of your insurance card to admin@landings.org. Our team will send your RFID tickets to Landings Security within 24 hours. You will take your new vehicle to the Main Gate, and a Security Officer will place your RFID.
  • Frequent Visitors RFIDs, Commercial Vendor RFIDs, Dog Park Registration, and Community Sign Board requests all can be completed online (www.landings.org).

Community Development reminds all residents that the majority of forms and resources needed for additions and alterations, as well as new construction, are located online (www.landings.org/resources > then click Architectural Documents). If you need to submit a sample or paint color swatch, please do so by taking a photo and emailing it to cdd@landings.org). To speak with a team member who specializes in ARC related business, please contact Sabrina McDowell (sabrinam@landings.org or 598-5501) or Morgan Parker (morganp@landings.org or 480-4408). For Covenants Compliance questions or to report a Covenant Violation, please contact Kanomi Ramseur (kanomir@landings.org or 598-5510) or Karen Szychowski (karens@landings.org).

Communications and Community Outreach - You can continue to submit Landings Journal and Weekly Enews submissions to pr@landings.org. Calendar submissions should be sent to calendar@landings.org.

Finance - You can email Landings Finance at acct@landings.org for questions regarding accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting questions. You are reminded that The Landings Association's 2020 Assessment (property owner dues) was due on March 1. After April 1, late fees will apply.

If you have remitted your payment or are on the quarterly payment plan, you don’t need to do anything further.

If you have questions about paying your account, please contact Debbie Waterlander (debbiew@landings.org or 912-598-5514). To learn more about payment options, please click here.

Marinas staff will close the forklifts at Landings Harbor Marina until further notice. The store also is closed, and staff will respond to email messages (marinas@landings.org). Delegal Creek Marina still is operating as normal.

Public Works will continue taking calls and responding to emails remotely. Barring any mandatory shelter-in-place orders, the Street Sweeper and Jetter will continue to operate on an as-needed basis, as will the environmental team, Facilities Maintenance, and Fleet Maintenance. Until further notice, BrightView, TLA’s contracted landscape company, also is working their normal cycle of mowing and landscape maintenance. If you need to reach Public Works, please email PW@landings.org. Remember, you can use the SeeClickFix platform to report maintenance issues (e.g., street light outages, dead animal on roadway, storm drain concerns, etc.). The platform provides the Public Works Department’s staff with a centralized work request management system to administer issues from creation to resolution, all while engaging residents throughout the process.

Once an issue has been submitted, The Landings Association will receive a notification via email. After receipt of the notification, the service request will be acknowledged, assigned to the proper staff member, and will be updated until its completion. Residents, in turn, will receive notifications along the way when the issue has been acknowledged, commented on, and closed.

If you have yet to create an account, there is no better time to do so than today! The mobile app is available for download on Android and iPhone by searching for The Landings Association in the respective app store. In addition to the mobile app, residents can send reports via the Association’s Website (www.landings.org/service-requests).

Security remains a 24/7 operation and will continue serving residents and guests, as usual. If you are expecting anyone at your house (including commercial workers/vendors), you should preauthorize their visit before their arrival. Vendors still must comply with policies regarding their entry, such as purchasing a daily pass or an annual RFID. However, Security still is interested in knowing where they are authorized to be within the community. Other than access related to a funeral, all party and event participants need to be preauthorized as well. You can easily accomplish preauthorizing your guests and vendors online.

  • The Community Code is TLA.
  • Your Username is the primary email address TLA has on file.
  • Your Password is your TLA Personal Identification Number (PIN).
