Burglary

Landings Security and Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) responded to a residence on Monastery Road for a report of a possible burglary on Tuesday, February 25. The resident informed officers that she had been out of town for the weekend, and upon her return, she noticed several things out of place. Additionally, she stated that all the copper pieces had been removed from a spare air conditioning unit in her attic. She also noticed that a key for a security deposit box was missing. CCPD is investigating.

Gas Leak

On Monday, February 24, Landings Security and Chatham Emergency Services (CES) responded to Franklin Creek Road South for a report of a gas leak. Upon arrival, a faint smell of gas was noticed in the area. CES personnel could not determine the location, and Atlanta Gas was contacted to address the issue. The cause of the leak is unknown.

Bridge Disruption Plan Meeting

The Landings Association hosted a meeting with Chatham Emergency Management Agency (CEMA) on Thursday, February 27, to discuss revising their bridge disruption plan. There were approximately 13 people in attendance.
