The Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) will conduct its 25th annual Kids Fishing Derby on Saturday morning, May 23, at the Kids Fishing Lagoon (#5) behind the firehouse near the intersection of Westcross and Log Landing roads.
Registration is from 8:30 to 9 a.m., fishing from 9 to 10:30 a.m., and prizes at 11 a.m. Children or guests of Landings residents are invited to participate. Kids may be as young as three or as old as 15. However, each child must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the event. The event is free.
