Player Housing
The Savannah Golf Championship returns to Deer Creek March 30-April 5, 2020.  Each year we host players and caddies in our homes during the tournament. It is a great experience and a way to get to know the players and caddies in an up-close and personal fashion. Who knows, you might host the next Brooks Koepka or Sam Burns! If you are interested in hosting a player and/or caddie, please fill out the housing application form here. Completed forms should be emailed to Penny Thompson ( This is an important way to make sure the tournament is a great success. If you have hosted in the past, you should already have received a request, and we have your information, so there is no need to reply. We very much appreciate your support! If you have any questions, please email Penny Thompson (
All New in 2020 - The Green Team!
This year, the Savannah Golf Championship is working towards lowering our environmental impact by minimizing the use of plastics where possible. We will be moving to aluminum cans for most of our drink selections, which gives us the opportunity to collect and recycle those cans to benefit the Skidaway Island Boy Scout Troop. These efforts are made possible by the Green Team, a new addition to this year’s Volunteer Program. If you have a flair for ecology and doing the right thing for the environment, please consider joining them. They will be helping collect empty aluminum cans and helping direct fans to the correct place to help us recycle. For more information, email Connie Squibb ( If you want to volunteer, visit the volunteer website here and follow the directions to sign-up. Thanks for your support!
