The Skidaway Hamiltons and the Skidaway Abigails’ WAG (Women Advocating for Georgians) will hold a joint meeting at 7 p.m. on November 19 at the Messiah Lutheran Church to discuss the 155th Georgia General Assembly agenda.

This important second session of the 155th begins on January 13, 2020 (the first session lasted 40 days in early 2019). Four progressive issue experts will reveal what Georgia representatives, lobbyists, and concerned citizen groups are doing about these four advocacy issues:

  1. Environment (Alex Muir)
  2. Voting Rights (Carol Nathan)
  3. Gun Safety (Anne Allen Westbrook)
  4. Criminal Justice Reform (Christopher Bruce)

If you want to learn more about Georgia politics and government and how you can make a difference, be sure to attend this informative meeting of nonpartisan, progressive men (Hamiltons) and women (WAG). It’s open to all members, the Abigails, and their guests ($10 guest fee).
