Volunteer Registration Opening October 29

This year the Savannah Golf Championship, a PGA TOUR owned and operated event on the Korn Ferry Tour, will be contested April 2-5, 2020, on Deer Creek Golf Course at The Landings Club. It will be a fun and exciting event again this year and another great opportunity for our community.

We are now in the process of recruiting volunteers for the 2020 tournament. We have opportunities in several areas, including: Marshals, Access Control, Admissions, Green Team, Product Delivery, Special Events, Cart Shuttles, Standard Bearers, Tournament Support and Parking. If you are interested in volunteering for the tournament, our volunteer registration website will open on Tuesday morning, October 29. Instructions on how to sign-up can be found below. We hope you will consider supporting this event. You will find it both fun and rewarding. It supports several charities across Savannah and Chatham County!

The volunteer website can be found here. Once on the site, sign-up under “New Volunteer Registration.” You will need to create a User ID and password to register (leave the registration code box blank). You will go through several pages where you register (please use the name you want on your badge when registering), choose a committee, order and pay for your shirt/hat (include the desired size; cost $65 to be paid via credit card) and choose shift preferences. You will also have an option to buy additional shirts and hats for yourself and/or to purchase an optional jacket or quarter zip.

If you are interested in trying on these items before you register, please go to the tournament office on Green Island Road in the trailer next to the TLC offices. The office is open for volunteer uniform samples between 9am-5pm on Mondays and Wednesdays only through November 13.

Since the umbrella sponsor of the Tour has transitioned from to Korn Ferry, no 2018 or 2019 volunteer uniforms or hats with the or Tour logo on them can be worn during tournament week or during any pre-tournament events by working volunteers.

I hope you will consider volunteering for this exciting event. If you have any registration questions, please contact me at or Ken Ura at
