Road Closure and Detour at Intersection of Landings Way North and Wiley Bottom Road Beginning November 4
On November 4, Southeast Pipe will begin the storm drain repairs at the intersection of Landings Way North and Wiley Bottom Road. The pipe in this area is failing due to a pipe separation, causing the curb and road to sink. This pipe is a critical part of the Landings’ storm drain system and is essential for vehicular traffic in the community. It requires immediate repair and replacement.
Once Southeast Pipe has completed the storm drainpipe repair at this intersection, Absolute Concrete and Bennett Paving will repair the curbing and the road.
Barring any complications and weather permitting, these repairs will be completed by November 8.
During this project, please utilize the following detours:
Landings Way North Traffic Traveling Northbound:
- Utilize Bartram Road Detour to Landings Way North (No Through Traffic)
- Vehicular traffic on Landings Way North to the Dog Park will be permitted (No Through Traffic)
Landings Way North Traffic Traveling Southbound:
- Utilize Landings Way North to Bartram Road or the North Gate
- Dog Park Traffic will need to utilize the Landings Way North to Bartram Road Detour
Golf cart traffic will not be affected during the project. However, delays are expected.
Please use caution when traveling around the repair areas and be cognizant of the detour arrows, signage, and contractor’s crews directing traffic. Thank you in advance for your patience as we continue to improve the infrastructure throughout the community.
If you have any questions or need further information, please call the Public Works Office (912-598-5509).
