MEET THE CANDIDATES EVENT, SEPTEMBER 4TH

A group of your neighbors have organized an independent, 2020 TLA Board Meet the Candidates event. 

In our opinion, the selection of the people to fill the annual vacancies should not be left to a bio and photo. We believe we must get involved in assuring candidates are aware of community concerns and priorities as a whole, rather than only the issues they may be aware of.

This event is an opportunity to meet candidates face to face, and not depend on a picture and short bio to cast your voting decision. This event is informal and will be an opportunity to question candidates about their priorities, and let them know yours, in a friendly and civil environment. There will be no presentations or announcements, just good conversation. 

This event will held in the Fellowship Hall of the Messiah Lutheran Church (1 West Ridge Road) on Wednesday September 4 between 6 and 9 p.m. Attendees should obey all parking restrictions and note that food and beverages are prohibited.
