Last weekend, Bacon Park hosted Savannah Slam, the first-ever wheelchair tennis tournament in Savannah.

Participants showed skill and passion for the game of tennis while having tons of fun. These outstanding athletes prove that despite the fact they are a wheelchair user, they are just like everyone else, they simply get around differently.

Shown in the photo at left wearing a red hat is Savannah Slam’s Referee and Landings resident Dick Bailey.
