2019 Mailbox and Sign Painting Program

Access Control Facilities Lightning Strike

The storms last week resulted in power surges to the following gate access control facilities: Main Gate, Oakridge Gate, Deer Creek Village Gate and the Deer Creek McWhorter Gate. Remote Technology and TLA staff have been diligently working to restore operationality, however damages to three callboxes, magnetic lane controllers, and photo eyes require replacement parts, which have been ordered with expedited shipping and are scheduled to arrive on Monday, July 15. Due to the extent of the repairs and associated cost, estimated at $15,000, staff filed a claim through our insurance provider. There is a $2,500 deductible for this claim.
