2019 Road Repair Project
On Friday, Bennett Paving completed the partial road replacement on Shellwind Drive from just inside the Deer Creek Village Gate to Moonbill Lane. The contractor will progress through the remainder of the project scope next week.
2019 Mailbox and Sign Painting Program
Five Star Painters completed the painting of all mailbox posts, mailbox numbers and yard plaques within this year’s project scope. The contractor is currently addressing punch list items that were notated by in-house staff and anticipate completion by the end of the month.
Access Control Facilities Lightning Strike
The storms last week resulted in power surges to the following gate access control facilities: Main Gate, Oakridge Gate, Deer Creek Village Gate and the Deer Creek McWhorter Gate. Remote Technology and TLA staff have been diligently working to restore operationality, however damages to three callboxes, magnetic lane controllers, and photo eyes require replacement parts, which have been ordered with expedited shipping and are scheduled to arrive on Monday, July 15. Due to the extent of the repairs and associated cost, estimated at $15,000, staff filed a claim through our insurance provider. There is a $2,500 deductible for this claim.
