Green Island Road Proposed Development Update

This week, the Chatham County Metropolitan Planning Commission (MPC) held a hearing on the proposed development along Green Island Road.

Per Director of Development Services Marcus Lotson, here is what occurred:

"The action that the Commission took on Tuesday was to table the item. There was no approval or denial of any portion of the petitioner’s request. The purpose of tabling the item was to have a legal review of the procedures by the Chatham County Attorney’s office. That review and any findings are currently scheduled to be heard during our June 4^th regular meeting. No action can take place prior to that."
