County Issues Chase Bank Construction Permits

Chatham County advised The Landings Association this week that it issued permits for the development of the Chase Bank in The Village.

As previously reported, the County requested the "consent" of the Association as the owner of Lake Street and the lagoon into which stormwater will be directed. As with the Indigo Hall/Thrive project, TLA's overriding concerns continue to be related to the traffic patterns, volume, and mode conflict (pedestrian, golf cart, cars, and commercial vehicles). Therefore, our consent was withheld pending a traffic study for The Village. Regardless, construction has now been approved by the County.
