First New Resident Reception of 2019 Well Attended
The air was filled with laughter and the aroma of wonderful food as more than 45 new homeowners learned about their new island paradise on March 5 at the first New Resident Reception and Orientation of 2019 at Plantation Club.
The event is a collaborative effort among The Landings Association (TLA), The Landings Club (TLC), and The Landings Company (TLCo) to welcome new residents to the community and help educate them on the responsibilities of the respective entities.
The Landings Association’s Assistant General Manager/CAO Karl Stephens was Master of Ceremonies for the evening and welcomed the group. Stephens, along with TLCo’s Mitch Jacobs and TLC’s Stephen Freund made presentations and answered questions of those in attendance. Chris Lanigan, President of New Neighbors, and Landlovers President Elect Bonnie Kelly encouraged attendees to learn more about their organizations and become active in the community.
