Savannah Golf Championship Update

Tournament Logistics

Year two of the Savannah Golf Championship is filled with plenty to entertain for the entire family. It’s also important to understand how everything will work during tournament week. Check out this short list of important information, and make sure you have your Member ID cards for admissions. 

Parking
Golf Cart Parking
Golf carts are the preferred mode of travel at The Landings and we’ve made plenty of space to accommodate. If you will be driving your golf cart to view the tournament, please use the cart corrals located on the number two tee, the number five green, the number 10 tee and the number 13 green. Only registered carts are permitted in the cart corrals. Please remember, personal carts are not allowed on the course during competition. For those arriving via bicycle, there will be a bicycle rack at the number 10 tee cart corral.

Car Parking
Members who would rather drive their cars to the tournament should park at the Skidaway Institute of Oceanography and ride the shuttle to the main entrance adjacent to the Deer Creek Clubhouse. These shuttles are complimentary and will run every 15 minutes beginning at 6:30 a.m. and ending following play. General spectator parking will be available at Bethesda Academy. Parking is $5 and is a direct donation to Bethesda.

Member ID Cards
Make sure you have a Member ID Card or your mobile app! You must present this at tournament admissions to gain your complimentary access to the tournament and access to the member lawn. Need help? Don't worry. Stop by the Operations Office (71 Green Island Road) and we will be able to answer any questions you have and provide you with a card. Call us 912-598-8050 to order your card in advance!

Admissions & Security
After you present your Member ID to admissions, you will receive a wristband. This wristband is only valid for play on the day you receive it. You must have a wristband to access the Member Lawn. Please make sure your Member ID card has an up-to-date photo of you! To make the tournament safer for everyone, this year security will be on the premises. The security check will include detection from a security wand and a possible bag inspection, depending on the type of bag you bring.

Member Lawn
The Member Lawn, directly behind the Deer Creek Clubhouse, returns this year as our exclusive viewing area. To keep this truly a member area, you must show your admission wristband to gain access to the Member Lawn at the 18th green. Each membership will be allowed to purchase two Member Lawn guest passes per day for $20 each to be charged to your account. These tickets will give access to the Member Lawn and provide general admission to the tournament.
