L.O.V.E. Mentors Spring Book Fair and Special Speaker
On Monday, March 4 all Local Outreach Volunteer Educators (L.O.V.E.) mentors will want to attend the Spring Book Fair at 3:30 p.m. at the Skidaway Island United Methodist Church. The Fair is your chance to select new books for your students.
Special Speaker
At 4 p.m., Vincent DelMonte, Executive Director of the Frank Callen Boys and Girls Clubs, will give an overview of the programs the clubs offer, especially the Summer Camp program that is available to our L.O.V.E. students. The Frank Callen Boys and Girls Clubs has an amazing 100-year history of helping kids have safe and entertaining afterschool programs. DelMonte will share ideas drawn from years of experience on how to further engage our L.O.V.E. mentees.
Please join us as we explore ways to be more effective in helping children learn. All Landings neighbors are invited to attend.
