PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE

A Proposed Site Plan for Green Island Road Project — Independent
Living, Assisted Living & Memory Care

A public meeting has been scheduled regarding a proposed General Development Plan for a site located on Green Island Road near Lufburrow Way. The meeting will be held by the Chatham County-Savannah Metropolitan Planning Commission on Tuesday. May 14th 2019 at 1:30 p.m. in the Arthur A. Mendonsa Hearing Room. The hearing room is in the MPC office, located at the State Street Parking Garage.

Request: The petitioner is requesting approval of a site plan/general development plan to develop 28 acres as an independent living, assisted living, and memory care development featuring single-family, and multi-family units. The petitioner is also requesting a 10 foot height variance from the 36 foot maximum height permitted for a portion of the development.

The MPC file regarding this request is available for public review at the MPC office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The staff report can be viewed online beginning Friday, May 10th at https://www.thempc.org/Board/Tpc
