Thanksgiving Day

Both Marinas will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. You are welcomed to come on down to enjoy the Marinas, but we will not have staff there and the stores will be closed. If you want to have your boat placed in the water the day before, we would be happy to do so. Please reach out to us before 2 p.m. on Wednesday to make those arrangements. You may do so by placing a boat move request on BoatCloud or call us (912-598-1901).

Food Truck Friday

The last one of this year is today (Friday, November 17) at Landings Harbor. The food trucks will be available from 4 to 7 p.m. Start your weekend off right without having to plan dinner! The food trucks lined up for this week are Naked Dog, Bow Tie Barbecue and Starship Ice Cream.

SAVE THE DATE: CCA Oyster Roast – Sunday, December 3.

CCA Skidaway will be holding its annual Oyster Roast and Pig Pickin’ Event at Landings Harbor on Sunday, December 3 from 2-4 p.m.  This year they will again be using their on-line registration process to register and pay for tickets for the event.  You will be treated to steamed oysters, mouthwatering steamed clams, and pulled pork along with a wonderful display of an overnight roasted pig and all the trimmings.  Beer, wine, soft drinks, and water will be provided.  Proceeds will support CCA’s mission to conserve marine life while we advocate for clean water, nursery habitats, and sustainable commercial and recreational harvest limits.  Please go to ccaskidaway.org for more information and to purchase tickets.  This event typically sells out each year, so do not wait to get registered.

New apparel items are in store! The full zip hooded jackets are made from a medium weight quilted material with an embroidered custom Landings design. There will be a navy vest coming very soon made from the same material.  The sweatshirts are made from our favorite terry cotton with screen printed design on the front as well as a Landings burgee on the sleeve.

Members of Chatham and Landings Sailing Clubs participated in the first Frostbite Series Race of the year. It was brisk, but a good time was had by all.

Landings Harbor Storage

Dry, wet, and jet ski storage are currently full. We will continue to maintain all waiting lists. We are preparing for Phase Two of the Dry Rack Storage Project that will commence at the end of this year. To do so, we need to plan on relocating boats that are currently in the racks that will be replaced.

Delegal Creek Marina (DCM)

Operating hours  9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Daily

CLOSED Thanksgiving Day

I'd like to remind those of you who have boats at Delegal Marina to make sure your batteries are charged, and bilge pumps and float switches are all in working order to avoid any complications. While we do our best to keep an eye on things, a little teamwork goes a long way, The above average tide swings makes it even more essential that we work together.

Holiday parties in the Sunset Pavilion are on the rise, so reserving the venue is crucial. Reservations can be made by calling the Landings Association main number (912-598-2520).

As usual, the screened-in porch closet to the water is first come first serve.
