APWA Conference

This week, Public Works Director Sean Burgess, Executive Assistant to the PW Director Amber Capps, and Facilities Operations Manager Jose Trujillo attended the APWA (American Public Works Association) conference in Jekyll Island, GA. The conference included a vendor showcase, continuing education classes and networking with local and state municipalities and counties.

Landings Harbor Pier Project

Staff continued to work on the Landings Harbor Pier this week, installing the new railing system and post lighting. Due to the extreme heat index, we have experienced this week, this project will continue into next week, with an anticipated completion date of August 18.
