Landings Harbor Fishing Pier Repairs
Absolute Concrete completed the concrete surface on the Landings Harbor Fishing Pier this week. Staff began installing the new railing system this week with an anticipated completion date of the end of August. Sections of the pier will be closed until the railing has been installed. Residents, boaters and guests should use caution in and around the pier until project completion.
Lagoon Dredging
This week, Dolan Yacht Service began the process of removing a large sediment island that had formed in Lagoon 92 off of Yam Gandy Road. Dolan Yacht Service will be working around the storm drain inflows in this lagoon and near the lagoon structure discharge to restore the storm water retention pond to its designed depths. Once they complete the required work in Lagoon 92, they will mobilize to Lagoon 51, near the intersection of Cabbage Crossing and Westcross Road.

Dog Park Entry Fence
In-house staff began rebuilding the split-rail fence leading up to the Dog Park this week. The fence was leaning significantly due to multiple rotted posts. Staff installed a new, two foot post in the ground for additional stability and replaced the rotted rails. Once the fence has been rebuilt, it will be pressure washed and painted.Â
