A Message from the Security Director

Summer is here! While you are are out and about enjoying the season, be sure to do your part to keep yourself and your neighbors safe.

As a reminder, please brush up on your knowledge of our Rules and Regulations. For instance, did you know that the scooters we often see in our community are prohibited on our community paths?

Section H. 7 reads, “Motorized vehicles, other than golf carts (e.g. Segways, scooters, hoverboards, and other such vehicles), are not permitted on community paths and trails."

Section H. 8 reads, "Electric bicycles are permitted on community paths. However, they must comply with all safety regulations and speed limits (18 MPH on Community Paths)."

Section G.4 reads, "Any person operating a golf cart must have in their possession a valid operator’s license." Remember, a learner’s permit without another licensed driver 21 years of age or older accompanying them is prohibited.

Please, refresh yourself on TLA’s Rules and Regulations, as ignorance is not an excuse. Support and compliance make for a happier and safer community.

Thank you, and safe travels,

Tim Cook
